Meet REWRITE researchers! Say hello to Lily Puspasari

Meet Lily, our new dedicated data steward for the REWRITE project! With a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and a background in data science, Lily holds a recent Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in South Korea. Her journey in using data to address environmental concerns, including contamination, health, and natural disasters, began in 2013 and has only grown stronger since.

As a former hydrologist at Golder/WSP, Lily played a vital role in developing and implementing sophisticated meteorological models to mitigate rainfall and flood impacts while maintaining water balance integrity. Additionally, her experience as a research assistant at GIST, collaborating with esteemed organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO), has honed her expertise in crafting data-driven solutions using machine learning algorithms (AI).

In her free time, Lily passionately shares her knowledge and advocacy for Water and Environmental Engineering, inspiring Civil Engineering students to embrace environmental preservation. Now, as part of the REWRITE project, Lily is dedicated to using her expertise, dedication, and passion for data to drive meaningful change.

As our data guardian, Lily ensures the integrity, security, and effectiveness of our data management.

Reach out to her at lily.puspasari@univ-nantes.fr for any data-related queries – she's here to support us every step of the way!
