Join the ReMeMaRe 2025 Conference: Advancing Coastal Restoration Together
The Restoring Meadow, Marsh, and Reef (ReMeMaRe) Conference 2025 is set to take place on 9-10th July at Scarborough Spa, England. Organised by The Environment Agency, The Crown Estate, and Ocean and Coastal Futures, this key event will bring together a diverse network of restoration practitioners, policymakers, environmental NGOs, industry leaders, and researchers to explore the latest in coastal and estuarine restoration science, practice, and policy.

Call for Abstracts: Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit oral presentations (10 min) and posters by 28 April. More details are available on the event website.
ReMeMaRe and REWRITE aim to restore and enhance coastal and estuarine ecosystems, using nature-based solutions to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, and coastal resilience. Many of the themes explored at the conference align closely with our work on tidal flat rewilding, carbon sequestration, and stakeholder-driven restoration approaches. This event presents a valuable opportunity for researchers and partners to contribute to and learn from cutting-edge restoration science and real-world case studies.
