Why this initiative?
Across Europe and beyond, nature is reclaiming space: tidal flats are shifting, forests are returning, and landscapes are renewing. But rewilding is more than restoration. It’s a vision for change.
How does rewilding speak to you? Why does it matter to you or your community?
How can rewilding transform both landscapes and mindsets?
REWRITE and WILDCARD are joining forces to invite anyone with a story, image, or idea about rewilding to share their vision with us. This is your chance to contribute to a unique exhibition that bridges art, science, and culture.

- Creators must be based in Europe.
- No professional or academic background required.
What kinds of work can be submitted?

Your contributions will help:
- Put rewilding in context: Highlight its role in responding to the climate and biodiversity crises, not as a return to the past, but as a hopeful way forward.
- Celebrate nature’s resilience: Capture the beauty, complexity, and renewal found in wild and rewilding spaces.
- Bridge art and science: Use creative expression to translate scientific ideas into emotional, accessible experiences.
- Inspire societal transformation: Show how rewilding connects to larger shifts in values, in how we as humans relate to nature, and in how communities can build resilience.
- Amplify the missions of REWRITE and WILDCARD: Unite coastal, marine, and terrestrial perspectives into one shared call for ecological and cultural renewal.
