Meet Panayotis Georgiou, our new REWRITER

Meet Panayotis Georgiou, the latest addition to the REWRITE team!

Panayotis is a geographer with an MSc in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. His background combines spatial analysis, ecosystem services and environmental management, with experience in projects related to marine conservation, ecosystem services assessment and nature-based solutions, both in Greece and internationally.

As part of REWRITE, Panayotis will join the team at Harokopio University of Athens working on Work Package 4, contributing to the development of scenarios for rewilding Europe's intertidal soft-sediment seascapes. He will work on advancing intertidal rewilding approaches and developing a toolkit to help explore and compare different rewilding scenarios.
